Uniforms

Here is an explanation of the uniforms.

Standard Uniform
Most enlisted crew and officers wear the standard uniform, which is flexible for daily duty with armored parts in strategic locations, for example, the chest, shoulders, and neck, for protection. The sash around the waist is a particularly nekomi influence, as that is a key part of their common dress.

Ground Force Uniform
Carpathia's ground forces are significantly smaller in number compared to the exploration forces. Nevertheless, Carpathia does have a branch of service dedicated almost exclusively to planetary exploration. Their job is to explore and evaluate planets for future colonization. Their uniforms are very similar to the standard uniforms, but are less colorful.

Special Operations Uniform
When the standard uniform won't do, there's the special operations uniform. It is suitable for combat situations, stealth, or whatever any hazardous mission requires. With the press of a button, it can go all dark for stealth, or light up like a beacon if the wearer needs to be found. The utility belt can store all kinds of tools.

Dress Uniform
For formal occasions, the dress uniform is the only one that features buttons of any sort. A classic, stylish design for any important occasion.

Rank Insignias
For each rank, there is a badge that goes on or near the collar, depending on the uniform type. Departmental colors correspond to the wearer's job. Most uniforms are black, but those in medical have white uniforms.
